Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)The pool areas very dangerous for smaller kids, there was a lot of teenagers running around and jumping into the water all the time. The life guards didn't do anything about it. My daughter got kicked couples of times in the face. The receptionist at the spa very rude, insisting that in France should only french be used and insulting people in front of clients. If people that don't speak French are not welcome then this should clearly stay at the websites instead of insulting foreigners.

Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)Cottage was nice, more than enough space. Pool was fine, enough sunbeds. A few more parasols would be nice. Bread service was minimalistic. I think it's better if guests can order their bread in advance and pick it up the next day. Give guest also the chance to order wheat bread. Every day bread was sold out in an instant. Very few products in supermarket, maybe this can get an upgrade? Bread and supermarket service was inconvenient.

Emplacement campingSingle sex toilets and showers would be better. The main bit of feedback - too many golf buggies. Everyone whonworks at the campsite seemed to have a buggy. No one walked anywhere. Andnthey kept zipping around all day and night. Reduce the buggies. Also ban scooters. We saw a couple of near misses. They go way too fast. Otherwise a nice site

Prijzen voor wassen 9 euro en brood aan de hoge kant er zijn allerlei regels maar niemand houd zich eraan. Er wordt s avonds laat over de camping gereden met auto's

Emplacement campingNice site, good facilities (we had a private bathroom on the pitch), but surprised in France we couldn't get a decent coffee in the morning (I wouldn't include the Nespresso machine in reception).

Everything you need to know for your camping holiday – Water Park
Currently, 16 Ciela Village campsites with water parks welcome you in France. Our campsites retain their individual character, which is why each water park features different facilities, designed to blend harmoniously into its natural surroundings. For you, our guests, this guarantees one-of-a-kind memories and the chance to discover unique amenities on every stay, ensuring unforgettable family moments! Depending on the campsite you choose, you can enjoy an indoor pool for swimming year-round; a heated pool for absolute comfort in the water; a variety of water slides for thrills galore; a counter-current river for family fun; a wading pool with water games for safe, fun-filled moments for the kids; hot tubs and hydromassage benches for moments of total relaxation; and sun decks for relaxing in the sun. At some 5-star campsites, the aquatic experience goes even further, with direct access to a lake or proximity to the sea.
At every water park, the pool is the highlight of your visit. It’s a vibrant hub that brings together people of all ages—a place where you can come to have fun or simply enjoy a moment of pure relaxation. The water in most of our aquatic facilities is heated to ensure optimal swimming comfort. There’s something for everyone, whether you prefer a large lap pool or a more peaceful one. For those who want to relax between swims, spacious sun decks usually surround our pools, allowing guests to work on their tan or read a book while comfortably lounging on a deck chair.
When it comes to thrills, our water parks don’t hold back!
The slide is often the undisputed star of the summer.
We offer a variety of slides to keep your sliding experience fresh:
- The multi-lane slide—challenge your friends!
- The twisting slide for maximum thrills.
- The perfect slide for a child taking their first steps in sliding.
Halfpipe, Family Slide, tube slides… some campsites with heated pools, such as Le Pommier in Ardèche, feature no fewer than 13 different slides—much to the delight of vacationers!
Of course, every water slide area is safe to ensure moments of laughter and togetherness in complete peace of mind. A water park without a slide wouldn’t be a true Ciela Village water park!
At our campsites with water parks, children’s well-being is our top priority. A successful vacation is measured by the smiles and moments of togetherness shared as a family, which is why every water park features a safe wading pool. The wading pool isn’t just a small pool; it’s a real space for play and learning, both fun and safe. Often equipped with various water games, a mini slide, and interactive water jets, the wading pool becomes a true adventure playground for toddlers. They can have fun there in complete safety and make new friends.
Yes, our campsites with water slides are designed for the whole family. Thrill-seekers will love slides like the Halfpipe, while every child can enjoy the gentle slides. Each water park is designed to offer a variety of fun experiences.
Our Ciela Village campsites with water parks are located in some of France’s most beautiful destinations—perfect for a camping vacation right on the water!
In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur: Soak up the sun in Vaucluse at Les Fontaines Campsite or escape to the spectacular landscapes of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence at Terra Verdon Campsite.
In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: For a thrill-filled experience, head to the Ardèche and the legendary water park at Le Pommier campsite. You can also opt for a peaceful lakeside getaway in the Drôme at Le Lac Bleu campsite or in Isère at Le Bontemps campsite.
In Occitanie: A region rich in diversity where you’ll be welcomed in the Gers at the Le Lac de Thoux campsite, in the Lot at the Les Cigales campsite, or in the Aveyron at the Le Caussanel campsite. For beach lovers, the coastline awaits you in the Pyrénées-Orientales at Le Floride and Les Marsouins, or in the Hérault at the Beau Rivage campsite.
In Nouvelle-Aquitaine: From the ocean in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques at the Atlantica campsite to the unspoiled nature of the Charente at the Les Gorges du Chambon campsite, swimming fun is everywhere.
In the Grand Est region: Head up to the hills in Haute-Marne at La Liez campsite for a rejuvenating stay overlooking the lake.
One of the greatest strengths of our campsites is their layout, which is designed with our guests’ comfort in mind. At each campsite, we’ve made sure that the water parks are located right in the heart of the grounds, ensuring optimal accessibility from every type of accommodation while preserving the tranquility of the living areas and everyone’s peace and quiet. So, whether you’re staying in a mobile home or on a bare campsite, you can reach the pool in just a few minutes on foot. This close proximity allows every family member to move at their own pace, relaxing on the sun deck and then returning to the comfort of the mobile home.
To fully enjoy each pool, each water slide, and the wading pool, we recommend staying at least 3 to 5 nights. This allows you to enjoy the grounds at your own pace, while exploring the area around the campsite and the many treasures of France.
Thanks to our water heating systems, outdoor swimming is possible for much of the year. However, for maximum comfort, we recommend our locations with indoor pools.
