I used to come to this campsite 25 years ago and it is the same as I remembered just with a lot more slides and better accommodation. We enjoyed so much we have already booked for next year on the same week. I feel that the bar/restaurant wasn’t open long enough, maybe consider opening in the mornings with croissants and coffees? As were we’re going off site every morning to get these, and opening earlier for evening meals maybe around 5pm? The staff were amazing!!!… also maybe consider hire out mobile AC units this would get you more revenue and also make the stay comfortable in the extreme heats.

The Joy of Enjoying the Outdoors

It’s the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the fresh air in the morning or share a meal after a day at the ocean. We make sure that each site is clearly marked to ensure your privacy while still allowing you to enjoy the campsite’s friendly atmosphere.

Finally, for total relaxation, our wellness area with a sauna and steam room awaits you, offering the perfect way to unwind after a day full of activities.

An amazing water park for kids and adults alike

The reason Le Chaponnet campsite is such a popular destination in the Vendée is largely due to its exceptional 2,600 m² water park. As the true heart of the campsite, it’s the place where everyone gathers.

    Heated pools: indoor and outdoor

The heated indoor pool at our campsite with a water park offers water at the perfect temperature, no matter what the weather is like on the coast. On sunny days, the heated outdoor pool becomes the family’s favorite gathering spot. All around the pool, a spacious sun deck equipped with plenty of lounge chairs awaits you for long, relaxing moments under the Vendée sun. It’s the perfect spot to work on your tan or simply read a book in the fresh sea air while the kids have fun with the water games and discover the joys of the water in the fun and safe wading pool.

    Slides and Thrills

The real highlight of the show: the water park’s 6 incredible slides! From multi-lane slides to twisting descents, the bravest visitors get their fill of adrenaline. It’s an activity that never gets old for fans of sliding and thrills. It’s the flagship activity that sets the pace for afternoons under the Vendée sun.
