Emplacement campingDo not visit this site if you do not have children. The location is ok but not a walking distance to anywhere, it is a drive to the towns. The staff working there are very young and quite unhelpful. The showers were not clean. There was a urine smell around the campsite which must have been people emptying their toilet waste because the waste facility was clear to be seen. The pool areas are fabulous though. The site caters very much for children. As a couple from the uk travelling together it was a wrong choice for us unfortunately.

Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)Delighted with the accomodation, lake boat rental, restaurant and staff/entertainment. For improvement we suggest that the pool is very small and would benefit from being bigger.

Emplacement campingWe moved from Les Marsouins Ciela village which is and deserves to be 5* camping . Les Fontaines is also advertised as 5* camping but is only 3*-4* at best for Motorhomes. The shop should be open all day on a 5* site. The motorhome empty area was very poor infront of the exit barrier with a broken hatch on the chemical empty point and the water hose pipe was used for both rinsing the chemical toilet and filling water. This is unacceptable on any star rated site.

Emplacement campingI booked for a twin axle without motor mover and was told we couldn’t choose a pitch. The pitch we were allocated was so hard to access it took 4 hours to manoeuvre the caravan in as our hybrid car couldn’t reverse it without overheating as the entrance was so steep and round a bend with huge rocks either side. On walking round the site we found many pitches which were on flat ground with no rocks and trees. The allocation of pitches was not very considerate for us. Also we noticed most people had paddle boards on their pitch but when accessing the lake area everyone converges to play ball in the small area near base nautique and they pull the sun loungers near the waters edge. Sometimes you would come back from a hard days paddling only to find nowhere to get off the water. A reserved area to go in and out the water in paddle boards would be very much appreciated. The shower rooms we also could not use as they were aged and yellowed and both times I tried the showers smelt of urine and as the bad if the showers are yellowing it was very off putting so we had to use our caravan shower only. Toilets also had no seats so my daughters wouldn’t use them.
