Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)All in all our stay was pleasant. A few things that would have made it even better: an animation team that speaks at least a little English, the 'Welcome presentation' should also address international guests (not just those that speak fluid French), and the barrière should open faster, very annoying to have to do the handbrake maneuver every time you leave the camping with the car.

Emplacement campingPitch size didn’t meet expectations. Poor toilet and bath facilities. One building wasn’t even open according to the opening hours written on the door. But why even close it. And one morning no toilets in any of the buildings were able to flush.

Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)It was a great stay. The only item that needs improvement is the fitness area. It should be at least be doubled in size and the materials should be replaced. There’s no air conditioning and te materials are of low quality and very limited in variaty and amount. Basically in this day and age a lot of people (especially your target customers) want to stay healthy and work out during their holiday. Now almost every time we wanted to work out the area was full (because of the small size and limited amount of good materials it’s full if 2 or 3 people are in there). So my suggestion is to invest in this and you’ll really increase the level of customer satisfaction. And the only other suggestion, provide free WiFi. Asking 20 euros for slow internet on 1 device is not something you want to do in this day and age.

Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)We had a wonderful time; the campsite is lovely, well appointed and the restaurnant/bar were a real highlight - great service and wonderful food. The direct lake access was a real highlight; we had our own paddle boards which we safely left by the lake but also very easy to rent extra kayak's, electric boats etc. Our accommodation was roomy, well appointed and very clean - having used Eurocamp multiple times we would say Ciela Village was a noticeable improvement and would highly recommend.

Everything you need to know for your camping holiday – Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
If you own an electric vehicle, the following information applies to you. These days, electric cars charge much faster, and fast-charging stations are now available almost everywhere. So going on vacation with an electric car is a viable option. If you’re planning to travel this way, be sure to plan ahead for charging your electric car. These stations are now available almost everywhere. However, while the installation of charging stations has become widespread in France, there are still other European countries where electric charging isn’t possible. To ensure your vacation goes smoothly, start by choosing a campsite with a charging station. We also recommend planning your route on a map based on your car’s charging capacity. You don’t want to be scrambling to find electric vehicle charging stations at the last minute.
If you’re planning to go on vacation with your electric vehicle, it’s best to choose a campsite with a charging station. Vacations are short enough as it is—you don’t want to spend time searching for nearby charging stations. The small village next door may not necessarily have this equipment. When you return from the beach, all you’ll have to do is plug your vehicle into one of the campsite’s charging stations located in the parking lot. Your car will be safe. That way, you won’t waste time looking for a charging station. Why not take the opportunity to spend some quality time at the pool with your kids, or enjoy a delicious meal at a restaurant with your partner?
In addition to electrical hookups, many modern campsites offer drinking water stations and restroom facilities high-quality. This provides campers with added comfort, allowing them to fully enjoy their campsite experience.
The electrical distribution at these campsites is carefully planned to ensure an even distribution of electrical outlets on the campsite. This gives every camper easy access to a charging outlet for their vehicle. This arrangement ensures that everyone can enjoy the benefits of electric charging, regardless of where their campsite is located.
Have you found a campsite with a charging station? The charging stations installed in the parking lots at our campsites are privately owned. In general, however, there are certain rules you should follow before charging your electric vehicle.
- Make sure that your vehicle’s cable type is compatible with the outlet. Feel free to contact our campsites before you leave. We’ll provide you with all the information you need.
- Make sure your payment method is compatible with the charging station.
- Make sure the charging station is available. You don’t want to charge your batteries at the same time as all the other vehicles at the campsite. Plan ahead and find out when it’s less crowded.
- Estimate how long it will take to charge your electric car. Don’t leave your car plugged into the charging station once it’s finished charging. Other customers may be waiting for your spot.
- If one of our kiosks isn’t working properly, please don’t hesitate to contact the front desk at our Ciela Village campsite. Our staff is here to help and will provide you with all the information you need to make your vacation at our 4- or 5-star campsites unforgettable.
