Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)The pool areas very dangerous for smaller kids, there was a lot of teenagers running around and jumping into the water all the time. The life guards didn't do anything about it. My daughter got kicked couples of times in the face. The receptionist at the spa very rude, insisting that in France should only french be used and insulting people in front of clients. If people that don't speak French are not welcome then this should clearly stay at the websites instead of insulting foreigners.

Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)Pizza for take out took wat too long on some days more then 1,5 hours Animation looks very nice but all in French, because of this we did not join since we did not understand any of it. Same for the information evening with drinks. All was in French, this doesn’t work for us. Maybe an idea to make a power point in English of something and add some shout outs in 2 languages to make even more connection? The translation into Netherlands is very bad in the app, on the posters.. I should suggest to improve this. My friend were in the M zone. Their terrace was build closed by high fences. This was very warm, gave no few at all. The front side I should remove or lower the fence

Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)Delighted with the accomodation, lake boat rental, restaurant and staff/entertainment. For improvement we suggest that the pool is very small and would benefit from being bigger.

Locatif (mobile home, chalet, lodge)The green areas—grass, bushes, and foliage—need tidying up and cleaning. More privacy for the mobile homes where we stayed.

Emplacement campingPitch size didn’t meet expectations. Poor toilet and bath facilities. One building wasn’t even open according to the opening hours written on the door. But why even close it. And one morning no toilets in any of the buildings were able to flush.

Emplacement campingI booked for a twin axle without motor mover and was told we couldn’t choose a pitch. The pitch we were allocated was so hard to access it took 4 hours to manoeuvre the caravan in as our hybrid car couldn’t reverse it without overheating as the entrance was so steep and round a bend with huge rocks either side. On walking round the site we found many pitches which were on flat ground with no rocks and trees. The allocation of pitches was not very considerate for us. Also we noticed most people had paddle boards on their pitch but when accessing the lake area everyone converges to play ball in the small area near base nautique and they pull the sun loungers near the waters edge. Sometimes you would come back from a hard days paddling only to find nowhere to get off the water. A reserved area to go in and out the water in paddle boards would be very much appreciated. The shower rooms we also could not use as they were aged and yellowed and both times I tried the showers smelt of urine and as the bad if the showers are yellowing it was very off putting so we had to use our caravan shower only. Toilets also had no seats so my daughters wouldn’t use them.

Everything you need to know for your camping holiday – Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
If you own an electric vehicle, the following information applies to you. These days, electric cars charge much faster, and fast-charging stations are now available almost everywhere. So going on vacation with an electric car is a viable option. If you’re planning to travel this way, be sure to plan ahead for charging your electric car. These stations are now available almost everywhere. However, while the installation of charging stations has become widespread in France, there are still other European countries where electric charging isn’t possible. To ensure your vacation goes smoothly, start by choosing a campsite with a charging station. We also recommend planning your route on a map based on your car’s charging capacity. You don’t want to be scrambling to find electric vehicle charging stations at the last minute.
If you’re planning to go on vacation with your electric vehicle, it’s best to choose a campsite with a charging station. Vacations are short enough as it is—you don’t want to spend time searching for nearby charging stations. The small village next door may not necessarily have this equipment. When you return from the beach, all you’ll have to do is plug your vehicle into one of the campsite’s charging stations located in the parking lot. Your car will be safe. That way, you won’t waste time looking for a charging station. Why not take the opportunity to spend some quality time at the pool with your kids, or enjoy a delicious meal at a restaurant with your partner?
In addition to electrical hookups, many modern campsites offer drinking water stations and restroom facilities high-quality. This provides campers with added comfort, allowing them to fully enjoy their campsite experience.
The electrical distribution at these campsites is carefully planned to ensure an even distribution of electrical outlets on the campsite. This gives every camper easy access to a charging outlet for their vehicle. This arrangement ensures that everyone can enjoy the benefits of electric charging, regardless of where their campsite is located.
Have you found a campsite with a charging station? The charging stations installed in the parking lots at our campsites are privately owned. In general, however, there are certain rules you should follow before charging your electric vehicle.
- Make sure that your vehicle’s cable type is compatible with the outlet. Feel free to contact our campsites before you leave. We’ll provide you with all the information you need.
- Make sure your payment method is compatible with the charging station.
- Make sure the charging station is available. You don’t want to charge your batteries at the same time as all the other vehicles at the campsite. Plan ahead and find out when it’s less crowded.
- Estimate how long it will take to charge your electric car. Don’t leave your car plugged into the charging station once it’s finished charging. Other customers may be waiting for your spot.
- If one of our kiosks isn’t working properly, please don’t hesitate to contact the front desk at our Ciela Village campsite. Our staff is here to help and will provide you with all the information you need to make your vacation at our 4- or 5-star campsites unforgettable.
