Emplacement campingThe campsite is nicely laid out, and the staff are very friendly and always willing to help. However, there seem to be construction sites or maintenance work going on throughout the property. The sanitary facilities in the main building are a real disappointment, and I don’t mean because they are old. Unfortunately, necessary repairs are either carried out very poorly or not done at all. The sanitary facilities are in urgent need of a complete renovation. The showers are set far too hot, and cleanliness is another major issue. The pitches are all a good size. Unfortunately, ours was about half covered in loose sand. The metal cover at the electricity and water connection was also loose. The restaurant on the campsite is very good and reasonably priced. The swimming pool is still enjoyable, but here as well, the repair work looks unprofessional. The whirlpool was out of service. Overall, we would only consider returning to this campsite once significant improvements have been made.

Emplacement campingGreat campsite, lovely staff, however when visitor numbers increased across Friday/Saturday/Sunday we experienced ongoing power cuts. Also during those busier days there was an increase in unacceptable behaviour in the pool/slides making it unsuitable to keep our smaller children there. Only 1 lifeguard who seemed to only respond to severely dangerous actions (so ignored the kid pulling his trunks down to go down the slides, or the older teens throwing themselves down the slides etc) Was a shame as rhe first half of our stay was faultless

Emplacement campingDo not visit this site if you do not have children. The location is ok but not a walking distance to anywhere, it is a drive to the towns. The staff working there are very young and quite unhelpful. The showers were not clean. There was a urine smell around the campsite which must have been people emptying their toilet waste because the waste facility was clear to be seen. The pool areas are fabulous though. The site caters very much for children. As a couple from the uk travelling together it was a wrong choice for us unfortunately.
