Our campsite, located in Barjac, is the ideal starting point for exploring the tourist gems of both the Gard and Ardèche regions!
Take pleasure in strolling through Barjac, just a few kilometers from the campsite, with its pretty cobbled streets and stone houses that are sure to seduce you.
You and your family can also lose yourself in the picturesque villages of Salavas, Labastide-de-Virac, Labeaume, La Roque sur Cèze, Balazuc and Uzès.
You won’t want to miss out on the region’s many caves, several of which are close to our campsite:Aven Forestière,Aven d’Orgnac, Grotte de la Madeleine, Grotte Saint Marcel and, of course, one of France’s best-known caves, Grotte Chauvet 2, with its incredible 36,000-year-old cave paintings, which have earned it UNESCO World Heritage status.
Near our campsite, discover the famous Pont d’Arc, a natural arch bordered by 2 magnificent beaches, ideal for swimming and lounging.
In terms of activities, let yourself be tempted by the unmissable canoe trip down one of France’s largest canyons, the Ardèche gorges, and admire the breathtaking scenery as it unfolds before your eyes. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts will also find something to suit them, with magnificent hikes in the Cévennes or along the gorges, bike rides through the vineyards, not forgettingrock climbing and caving for the more adventurous.
