Our Ciela Village campsites, located the French countryside from the Ardèche to the Aquitaine, offer a more eco-friendly vision of camping close to nature. They are located near exceptional natural sites: near a farm in the country, near the beach, on the shores of a lake or the banks of a river. In addition to our bare pitches and a wide range of mobile homes that can sleep up to 8 people for one or more nights, Ciela Village campsites offer a type of accommodation that is both eco-friendly and budget-friendly, designed for nature lovers: Ciela Nature tents. The first model, called Ciela Nature, is a canvas and wood tent for a holiday in the heart of nature. It can accommodate up to 4 people in 18 m², with two bedrooms connected to a deck. Without running water, it does not have sanitary facilities or a kitchen, but it does have a small refrigerator and all the necessary comforts to spend a perfect week’s holiday. The Ciela Nature Lodge tent includes 2 to 3 bedrooms over 25 to 60 m², a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with separate toilet and a beautiful shaded wooden deck spanning 15 m². With so much space, it can accommodate from 4 to 8 people depending on the model. It is the ideal accommodation for those who do not wish to sacrifice comfort during a unique experience in a different kind of accommodation. Each of our campsites has a water park with heated swimming pool and a restaurant offering local dishes and quality à la carte options. To make a reservation, choose your dates and an accommodation. Reservations can be made on our website. You can also read reviews of our campsites.
In Aquitaine, the Landes is essentially composed of pine forests. We enjoy cycling in the forest and along the beach. Renting a small electric boat and exploring the lakes is a great activity to do. Further south, towards Saint-Jean-de-Luz, surfing is the main activity. This activity is accessible to families with children. In the Ardèche Gorges and the Verdon, you can enjoy several water activities during your stay, such as canoeing on the Verdon river or the Lake of Sainte-Croix, for example. Hiking remains the main activity, especially along the Verdon Gorges on the Banc-Martel trail, which follows the river through breathtaking landscapes. At night, gaze upon the starry sky with your family: magical!
Over the years, some of our campsites have adapted to ecological changes and the demand for environmentally friendly accommodations. For example, our 5-star La Farigoulette campsite in Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon and Les Fontaines in the Vaucluse have been awarded the Clef Verte label, which rewards accommodations and restaurants that are committed to sustainable development and respect their local environment. Located in Biscarrosse on the lakefront, the Domaine de la Rive has received the European Ecolabel, an eco-friendly label recognized in the member countries of the European Union. It rewards the preservation of nature at the campsite, waste reduction and use of renewable energy. Ecolabel campsites also help educate their guests about reducing their ecological footprint. Reservations can be made on our website. You can see the price per night and per week based on your dates for each mobile home and campsite pitches, available payment methods and other information regarding the water park with swimming pool and ACSI cards, as well as reviews from former guests. Booking online is simple and takes only a few minutes.
