So, we naturally decided to partner with skipper Erwan Le Roux, who is preparing to relive the legendary solo transatlantic race, the Route du Rhum.
This partnership between Ciela Village and Erwan Le Roux is very dear to the president of the group, Thierry Bouchard, who has been passionate about sailing since a young age and was once a skipper himself.
It has become a winning investment! Since the 2015 Transat Jacques Vabre, the Ciela Village teams have made the boat’s exploits their own through shared values such as courage, team spirit, performance and determination.

This exceptional sailor’s record of achievement is impressive: a repeat medalist at the Tour de France à la Voile, three-time winner of the famous Transat Jacques Vabre and also the famous Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe race in 2014.
The skipper’s ability to navigate, manage a team and his mastery of techniques for optimizing performance are qualities that make him a formidable sailor!

Nautical Races
The skipper’s objective is clear: win the second annual Pro Sailing Tour and add his name to the list of winners of the famous Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe for a second time, which will take place on November 6, 2022.
The season started off strongly for Erwan and his 15 m multihull Ocean Fifty with a third place finish in the Pro Sailing Tour held in Corsica in May 2022.
The complete Pro Sailing Tour 2022 schedule:
- Stage 1 Bonifacio: May 12-15, 2022
- Stage 2 Brest: June 23-26, 2022
- Stage 3 Bay of Saint-Brieuc: July 1-5, 2022
- Stage 4 Cowes – Roscoof: July 6-10, 2022
He is already set for the Drheam Cup Cherbourg – La Trinité grand prix, July 17-23.
Ciela Village will be accompanying him all the way to the Route du Rhum solo race, which will start on November 6, 2022 in Saint-Malo.
